Effective communication and coordination between Emergency Responders and Liberty is important for successful management of pipeline incidents. For an effective response, please deploy the following actions:

• Approach area with caution
• Evacuate and secure the perimeter around the area of the incident
• Reroute the area of traffic and remind nearby civilians to not smoke or use electronic/ battery powered devises to prevent the ignition of gas vapors
• In the case of a fire caused by gas release, do not extinguish the fire at the source. This could result in a vapor cloud that could reignite. Instead, focus more on preventing the fire from spreading
